The Placement & Career Guidance Cell of Sri Krishna Degree College organized a highly productive One-Day Career Counselling Session on 18th March 2025, in collaboration with Magic Bus India Foundation, at the SKDC Auditorium. The session was attended by final-year students of B.Com, BBA, BCA, and M.Com, aiming to equip them with knowledge about diverse career opportunities and the essential skills required to excel in their professional lives.

The session was led by Mr. Naveen, Soft Skills Trainer, who shared valuable insights into the current job market, career prospects, and strategies for personal and professional development.

The primary objective of the session was to guide students in exploring various career paths after graduation and to prepare them for the corporate environment by enhancing their employability skills, communication abilities, and workplace ethics.

The session featured several key highlights, including industry insights where experts discussed emerging trends and the evolving job landscape, and a skill development segment focused on communication, teamwork, and professional ethics. The Pre-Placement Training Program, conducted by the Training & Placement Cell, helped students prepare for upcoming recruitment drives through mock exercises and simulated industry scenarios that provided hands-on learning experiences. Additionally, the session emphasized personality development, boosting students’ confidence, adaptability, and interpersonal skills—qualities essential for professional success.

The impact of the session was profound, as students gained clarity about their career goals, understood the recruitment process, and developed a proactive approach to job readiness. The interactive discussions and activities inspired participants to align their skills with industry needs and build a strong foundation for their future careers.
