Counseling Cell of Sri Krishna Degree College

 



The Counseling Cell of Sri Krishna Degree College, in collaboration with COPE Mpower from the Aditya Birla Education Trust, organized an enlightening Orientation Program on “Prioritizing Mind Health” on Monday, 10th March 2025. The session focused on promoting mental health awareness and emotional well-being among students from all degree classes.

The program served as an introductory session to mental health counseling and training, aiming to help students understand the importance of maintaining a healthy state of mind amidst academic and personal challenges. The session was led by Ms. Adaa Hafeez, who delivered an engaging and informative talk on mental health issues faced by students and the effective ways to identify, manage, and overcome them. Her talk was insightful, addressing the root causes of stress, anxiety, and emotional imbalance, while also emphasizing self-care, open communication, and seeking help when needed.

Students actively participated throughout the session and expressed positive feedback, appreciating the relevance and usefulness of the discussion. Their enthusiasm and curiosity reflected a growing awareness of the importance of mental well-being in achieving overall success and happiness.

The Orientation on Prioritizing Mind Health was a meaningful initiative by Sri Krishna Degree College, reinforcing the institution’s commitment to nurturing not just academic excellence but also the mental and emotional resilience of its students.
